During the days of New York fashion week, the best trend that has been noticed not only on the streets of the city but also on catwalks seems to be that of the Ankle strap heel over pants. Undoubtedly easier to do than to say, this trend has been spread by influencers, models, and other important personalities of the fashion world (from Kylie Jenner to Emily Ratajkowski), as well as being proposed in many fashion shows’ looks both in New York and in London.
For those who have not yet fully understood what we are talking about, this trend consists of wearing the laces of the heeled shoes wrapped around the trousers, at the ankle height.
The result is a style out of lines but at the same time very glam, a reminder of a mix of past trends that came back for their new moment of glory in this latest New York Fashion Week and, probably, in the future summer season.
