Sony finally unveils the design of the new Playstation5, that will be released in two versions at the end of the year (probably December). Everything was revealed yesterday, June 11th during the awaited event that was postponed already two times, once for the pandemic and then for the protests that are taking place in the United States. Following the announcement by Microsoft of the Xbox One S, and a market more and more orientated towards the streaming, the PS5 will be available in two different versions, a classic with optical drive Blu Ray 4K or a Digital Version that will work without connecting any discs.

The new PS5 has a similar design to the DualSense controller, using a black and white contrast. The touch of colour is guaranteed by a blue unled that creates a series of reflections on the white border. The console can be placed both horizontally and vertically and matches with the colours of the controllers. The official accessories that can be paired with the console are the Pulse 3D headphones that support the tridimensional audio and a double microphone noise proof, the HD webcam that features a double lense to record any gaming session full HD, a controller that integrates vocals commands and the charging base Dual Sense that charges up to two controllers at the same time.

Following the launch of the PS5, they will release 28 games, with 9 produced by the PlayStation Studios. Sony still didn’t reveal the prices of the consoles, but we can expect them to be around 499 for the version without the optical drive and 599 with it, while others predict it will be 599 and 699 dollars. We only have to wait for any official confirmations.
