Today, October 28, Russell Westbrook’s x Acne Studios capsule collection is finally out. The partnership between Acne Studios and NBA basketball player Russell Westbrook, which began with his participation in the Acne Studios 2019 campaign, translates into a men’s capsule collection for the autumn winter 19/20. A perfect connection between sporstwear and pret-a-porter, united by the use of a material that has always been a specialty of the Swedish maison: denim.
The capsule collection includes outerwear, shirts, jeans and shorts, all declined in a color graduation of the washed denim palette of acid blue and aqua green, black and white. The anorak windbreaker jacket offers a new use of denim with a zip, a front pocket and a drawstring at the bottom. The vest has oversize pockets and piping details along the seams. The short-sleeved denim shirt is inspired by sportswear. The jeans have a classic and cigarette cut and are fitted with five pockets while the shorts stretch slightly with an oversized shape.
