Located underground, the sushi restaurant DOMODOMOmixes elegant and modern, with its wooden furnishings and wide counter in blonde wood. DOMODOMO was designed by Jae Park, Interior design graduate and ex designer of one of the best interior design studios in the world, Gensler. The elegant furnishings and the modern space that can welcome 90 seats, give a minimalistic but welcoming feeling.
Sushi, of course, is the real protagonist of the menu, with prime quality nori, rice and fish. Some combinations are familiar while others are completely new. It’s not just sushi: DOMODOMO offers a unique and special culinary experience. By offering various traditional recipes of the East Asian tradition, DOMODOMO speaks to the demanding taste buds with glassed prawns and sweet pepper sauce that lays on a Korean pear and rocket salad with a yuzu vinaigrette. While the udon satisfy with a classic soup and soft noodles.
DOMODOMO’s menu and its kitchen is managed by Brian Kim, graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and 15 years of experience, that constantly renew himself experimenting with new combinations and fresh ingredients each season.
The service and hygiene measures are incredible: once you’re seated at each client is offered a small ball and a detergent towel to wash your hands.
