Protected on the fourth floor of the Deutsche Bank Center, of the 10th of Columbus Circle of the always awake Manhattan, a small gourmet jewel awaits your hungry palates: PER SE by Thomas Keller.

For the less experienced Thomas Keller, an exponent of the new American cuisine, has numerous restaurants in the United States and has won various awards for best Chef in America.

In 2005 the Michelin guide assigned three stars to the PER SEA restaurant, and today he has eight of them divided among all the locations of its culinary empire.

The restaurant’s cuisine is a fusion between New American and French cuisine, and to prepare it in the best way, maintaining the strict standards of Michelin guide, Chef de Cuisine Chad Palagi.
Once you cross the iconic blue door, the restaurant, with a welcoming and serene atmosphere, offers a tasting course consisting of nine cuisine dishes chosen by the Chef or nine vegetarian dishes cooked with classic French techniques, all accompanied by a wine list of over 2000 bottles.

You can therefore select the most famous wines, obviously present, or rely on small wineries that release low annual quantities, or why not taste an excellent antique red wine? Prices vary according to the availability and taste of your palate. We can opt for a glass of Chateau Lafite-Rothschild 2010 Demi for $ 3000, but also for an honest Modicum, Extra Brut, Blanc de Blancs from 2018 for only $ 41.

If you want to see the list, go here.

In summary, this is a restaurant that is worth trying that is once or that becomes a point of reference for your stomach given the opportunity to try a constantly varied and very high-level tasting course.
