Among Netflix’s most beloved series, Bridgerton is about to return with its long-awaited second season. Based on  Julia Quinn’s second novel in the Bridgerton series, The Viscount Who Loved Me, the popular drama focuses on the love life of Viscount Anthony Bridgerton.

Daphne, played by Phoebe Dynevor, is now married and can help her brother find a worthy bride.

While Daphne’s former love interest, the handsome Duke of Hastings, won’t return for the time being, the new season will feature a host of new faces, perfect for Lady Whistledown’s salacious letters.

Here is the synopsis of the second season:

“Driven by his duty to keep the family name high, Anthony’s search for a rookie who meets his standards seems like an impossible feat until Kate (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India. When Anthony begins courting Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of her intentions – a genuine love encounter is not at the top of her priority list – and decides to do everything in her power to stop the union. But in doing so, Kate and Anthony will get even closer. On the other side of Grosvenor Square, the Featheringtons must welcome the new heir to their estate while Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) continues to juggle trying to hide her secret.

Bridgerton, with his beautiful costumes, has also profoundly influenced the fashion world, relaunching the use of the corset.

The second season of Bridgerton will premiere on  Netflix on March 25.
