IKEA and ASUS Republic of Gamers announced the release of a collaboration for a collection of furniture and accessories for gamers. The collection will include 30 pieces, developed by Product Development Center di Shanghai and created for improving the gaming experience. Ikea wants to create a “cross-demographic line” that mesh a classic design to the gaming world.
Is not the first time that the Swedish company dip their toes in the gaming world. Just a few weeks ago IKEA Taiwan released an alternative version of their catalogue set in the world of Animal Crossing, the Nintendo game which popularity skyrocketed during the lockdown. The IKEA and ASUS Republic of Gamers will be released in China from February 2021 and in the United States in October 2021.
