The good news is that the first beauty line by N°21 has finally arrived, the negative one is that for now is only available in Japan, at the new concept store of Alessandro Dell’Acqua‘s brand. Called GARAGE VENTUNO, it will open on November 4th on the first floor of the Hankyu Umeda di Osaka department store in Osaka. The inspiration? The former car park adjacent to the N°21 headquarters in Milan that the brand has transformed into a functional and sophisticated space that hosts the brand’s fashion shows and showroom.
GARAGE VENTUNO enters the beauty market for the first time with two collections: The Nude Collection and The Black Collection. Designed by the Japanese make-up artist Ayako, the collections include lipsticks, eye shadows, eyeliners, nail polishes and face masks. “I had a good affinity with Ayako right from the start. She immediately understood what I had in mind. I loved the way she translated the key elements of N°21 into cosmetic products, focusing on the shades of black and nude,” says the founder and creative director Alessandro Dell’Acqua.
The new concept store was designed by the architect Hannes Peer, the same that designed the N21 headquarters in Milan, that inspired the mood of GARAGE VENTUNO.
In addition to the beauty products, the collection includes bags and water bottles (in collaboration with the Italian brand 24BOTTLES). With every item N°21 gives a vegan energy bar in offer created by Mayumi Nishimura, Madonna’s former personal chef and macrobiotic coach. Strictly sustainable, all of these products are characterized by the exclusive use of N21’s two distinctive colours: nude and black.
