Our CEO Maria Vittoria Cusumano said “I do” in a magical and private function held on Nantucket, an elite location in Massachusetts, to Christopher W. Sherman, a brilliant aerospace engineer with a successful career path, now Strategic Director within one of the aerospace industry’s most famous companies in the world, as Forbes declare, that collaborates with the American government.
The ceremony took place in the evocative setting of the Nantucket Lighthouse, immersed in an idyllic landscape overlooking the ocean. A beautiful place whose story seems to have also inspired the narrator Herman Melville so much that he chose it as the starting point for the Pequod, the ship of the famous novel Moby Dick. The island is located within the splendid Cape Cod Peninsula, whose beauty and enchanting atmosphere have won over famous painters such as Edward Hopper, who has portrayed it several times in his canvases.
A very fashionable location, perfect for the celebration of a ceremony that was lived in a strictly private form at the behest of the spouses, giving space to feelings, family values, and authenticity. An “Elopement Wedding”, with all the romance of a getaway for two.
The wedding was preceded by a very romantic proposal that was held on the beautiful rooftop of the building where the couple resides, with a 360° view of New York, sealed by the gift of a fantastic and prestigious Maison Graff’s engagement ring, also mentioned by the famous Magazine “The Jerusalem Post”.
The couple who lives in New York and is among the most loved by the New York jet set, as evidenced by the article written by the illustrious “The Ritz Herald”, will soon be in Italy to organize a second celebration to be held in an exclusive location, as anticipated by the “London Daily Post”
Meanwhile, we anticipate that the chosen city will be Rome.
From all the MVC Team, the warmest wishes to Maria Vittoria and Christopher for a radiant life together.
