Even Iceberg has finally brought its fall-winter 2020 on the catwalk during the Milan fashion week.
On Friday 21 February, James Long, creative director of the brand, presented the latest Iceberg womanswear collection with a bright and energetic fashion show held in Via Archimede 26, Milan, which was attended by various celebrities and personalities from the front row as guests prominent in the social world, including Maria Vittoria Cusumano, a Roman entrepreneur and influencer, as well as editor of MVC Magazine, Alice Sabatini, Ludovica Pagani, Marco Ferrero and many others.

The brand, of Italian origin, has chosen to dedicate the collection to its own history, going back to its origins and naming it Iceberg 1974, the year the brand was founded. The leitmotif of the collection are the stylistic features that have made the brand known over time, remodeled to be in tune with the trends of autumn-winter 2020.
Flat and absolute colors, such as black and white, combined with sporty designs, metallic and shiny fabrics alternating with other more classic ones such as lace and knitwear, quilts and maxi-bags in matelassé and the inevitable “iceberg” logos and allover prints on socks, bucket hat, sweaters, sweatshirts and bags. The collection has gradually declined the essence of Iceberg on the catwalk in a chromatic crescendo, starting from the softest and most basic colors, such as black and white, up to the brightest and most intense shades of pink and green, mitigating streetwear and sporty trends with more chic as coats, mini-skirts, sheath dresses and décolleté with ankle laces.

The incredible parade, organized by the PR Paola Ruffo, took place in the early afternoon and could only be followed by an equally wonderful post-show party: Iceberg in fact continued the celebrations the same evening starting at 22.30 at the Milanese disco Gate, with an exclusive party dedicated to his new women’s collection fw2020, to the rhythm of the DJ of the evening Salmo.
