Don Lisander was the nickname of the famous Alessandro Manzoni. Don Lisander Milano is a historic restaurant that is not by chance located in Via Manzoni at number 12/a. A story that began in 1947. The location is a few steps from the Teatro Alla Scala, a prestigious and classy area that fully reflects the restaurant’s style. The owner is Stefano Marazzato.
The interior room has 50 seats and is set up in what was once the chapel of Palazzo Trivulzio (1700), whose magnificent garden is still visible today from the restaurant courtyard. The splendid garden is the real added value. An oasis in the heart of Milan that has 140 seats. Ideal for enjoying the dishes on the menu and celebrating private events, birthday parties, business meetings, and any anniversary.

Don Lisander Milano’s menu is full of many curiosities. You can taste the typical dishes linked to the Milanese tradition and revisited proposals and national dishes. We have dishes like Milanese risotto, Val Tidone cured meats, and Culatello di Zibello. The sweet and sour guinea fowl is always a tasty and very inviting proposal. The Milanese ossobuco and the veal cutlet are a must. The homemade pastas are very fresh and handcrafted. Among these are the pizzoccheri from Valtellina and tortelli from Piacenza. Finally, you can taste the chestnut parfait with persimmon sauce, or the pear tart with dark chocolate and raspberry sauce.

The average price is around 60 euros per person. The choice of wine will be effortless thanks to the wide selection of products that the cellar offers. Wines of excellent vintages and from the best Italian producers will delicately delight your palate.
