Sergio Rossi collaborates with Rosie Assouline for the realization of a new model of shoes: with the new creative chapter of srAddiction, the footwear company does not only embrace the elegant style of the designer but also its vegan philosophy, as regards the use some materials. Thus was born the first collection of vegan shoes by Sergio Rossi.
The collection consists of décolleté, mules and ballerinas, was made with the use of silk, offered in four different colors, from black to bright white, to red, to the floral pattern in blue notes. All embellished with micro-pearl tassels.
Rosie Assouline known for femininity and vegan philosophy, has reinterpreted Sergio Rossi’s sr1 collection to create a Limited Edition that combines the timeless elegance of Made in Italy and the eccentric New York style.
“I was lucky enough to visit Sergio Rossi’s offices, archive and factory in Italy last fall” – said Rosie Assoulin, founder and designer of the American brand of the same name – “I was excited to collaborate on this project in how much was Sergio Rossi’s first vegan offer. We were inspired to add some playful but classic elements, and what could be more classic than pearls? “.
Sergio Rossi, an Italian footwear and accessories company founded in 1935, has always paid particular attention to sustainability, so much so as to launch the Eco Pump in 2009, a biodegradable décolleté made with liquid wood and tanned leather. Not only that, a few years later, it has partnered with Eco-Age to develop the “Green Carpet” collection, made up of eco-sustainable models.
The capsule collection will be sold for € 595.00 and is available at the official sergiorossi.com website and at the Sergio Rossi flagship store in New York.
