Off White celebrates the 500th anniversary of the genius of the Renaissance, Leonardo da Vinci, with a street style collection in a luxury key. A brand new line launched very recently and made up of hooded sweatshirts and graphic t-shirts on a white or black base. The Off-White c / o Louvre collection, sold on the Off-White website, in the Louvre gift shop and in Off-White boutiques in Paris and Milan, includes basic pieces of street and urban inspiration, especially the hooded sweatshirts have sizes oversize, ultra-long and plentiful sleeves and pouch pockets. The detail that pays homage to the Renaissance genius is the printing of his works and his drawings.
A few days after the launch, the art + fashion collection by Virgil Abloh is already sold out. Like the short-sleeved t-shirt with the white Off-White logo and the “LOUVRE” print on the front, while on the back it has four silver arrows. The price of the t-shirts in the collection is 260 euros. Or like the sweatshirts where the price is around 470 euros and in addition to the prints of the paintings or drawings by Leonardo Da Vinci, they have the white logo graphics on a black base and in black and orange on a white base.
The campaign images shot by photographer and director Thibaut Grevet, are set in the Grande Galerie of the Louvre and the partnership is in conjunction with the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition, on display at the Louvre in Paris until February 24th 2020.
