Love it or leave it. Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and Nike has gotten ready for the festivities with a myriad of unique Nike Sportswear sneaker styles. The latest arrival is a particular Air Force 1 model filled with love both literally and figuratively.
A blend of white and red leather plus pink suede serves as a base to enhance the Swoosh in contrast. The toebox replaces its standard circular perforations with heart-shaped holes and the lateral and medial midfoot. The Nike Air graphic embroidered on the heel also adds a small heart above the “i” in Air.
However, the necessary detail is provided by the tab labels. These pink and red fabric labels are secured by a single pink snap button, which can be lifted to reveal a special message under each. The left shoe reads “True Love Since ’82”, a nod to the AF1’s debut year, and the right offers tonal graphics “AF1 4Ever”. The white midsole and pink outsole complete the look.
