Either you love them or you hate them, there’s no in-between. Zara release a new pair of sneakers inspired by the Playstation 1. In a grey colourway, the sneakers feature a series of prints that are inspired by the Sony’s console, no laces and two tongues that helps you put them on. There’s a detail that provoked many reactions on social media: the green on the toe seems to be a tribute to the Xbox, but Zara explained that the colour evokes the green light that indicates that the PS1 was on.
But there’s more. Another thing that didn’t convince the people was the design and the colour, as well as the size range (from the 27 until the 41) which indicates that the shoes are for kids rather than for adults. The bigger sizes are all sold out, but the price is still affordable, for only 40 euros anyone can have a pair of sneakers inspired by their number one passion.
