Every time that Raquel Murillo’s character in La Casa de Papel (available on Netflix) starts to talk with The Professor, she styles her hair in an improvised bun, held up just by a pencil. A gesture that every girl attempted at least once in their life, is now a viral challenge on Tik Tok. The Pencil Bun Challenge was inspired by Raquel alias Lisbona, and thousands of girls are now attempting to recreate the hairstyle, documenting everything on TikTok. The music used is, of course, the remix of “Bella Ciao”, that became popular thanks to the fans of the tv-series.

The fourth season of the series was a huge success and the outfits wore by the group, including the famous eye-glasses that The Professor constantly put on-and-off when he’s nervous or worried, were included in two different collections by Pull&Bear and Persol. The global success of the Spanish series pushed Netflix to renew it for two more seasons, a fifth and a sixth one.
