As has become tradition, we know that every opening of a new point of sale Supreme is the usual release of an exclusive Box Logo theme. Over the years, those t-shirts are extremely rare and have helped reinforce the brand’s status symbol. Have become among the most coveted and desired by fans of streetwear and collectors in general. And now all the attention is pointed towards Milan. The brand James Jebbia has finally decided to put its roots in Italy with the flagship store in Corso Garibaldi 20, which opens today in the doors.
Therefore, we return to talk about the Opening Box Logo. Although the first hypothesis indicated the reproduction of the Italian flag, this time, the concept of the final print has proven to be particularly interesting. Directly from the windows of the store is, in fact, the appearance of a t-shirt that is characterized by a homage to the last supper of Leonardo da Vinci’s Renaissance masterpiece housed in the Church of Santa Maria Delle Grazie, which is the symbol of the artistic heritage of the capital of Lombardy. On the back appears the written “GRAZIE” (thank you).
In reality, it is not the first time that the Supreme uses the iconography of the Last Supper, since it was already in 2002 he was awarded the set of “The Last Supper” consists of hoodies, stickers, and skateboards depicting the work of Leonardo. But in this case, the reference assumes all other values.
The launch is scheduled for today, May 6, in the store. However, for fans of the brand who have failed to register with the drop, some sources speculate that it will be followed by a release online following Monday.
Below you can find the gallery of the store Supreme. Develops on only one floor, the windows face towards both Piazza San Simpliciano, both on Corso Garibaldi. At the architectural level and disposal of the products, space is divided by a central colonnade; on the right side are present in the artwork of Mark Gonzales and two relle clothing above which it is possible to see the much-anticipated Box Logo. There are many products and an area dedicated to accessories like caps and backpacks on the opposite side. At the bottom of the shop is a wall full of graphics attached to the skate deck made by the brand for the season Spring/Summer 2021.
