The dissent initially caused by the Air Jordan 1 Mid would seem to be a thing of the past. Jordan Brand ‘s medium-cut silhouette has, in fact, become a valid alternative to its High counterpart. Further confirmation from the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 Mid Heat Reactive, a thermosensitive variant of the sneaker. This technology, until now, has been offered exclusively on top of the range models such as the Civilist x Nike SB Dunk Low.
At first glance, the sneaker boasts a very clean aesthetic, with the front area decorated with white and black toe. The same color combination is then proposed on the lacing and on the side where we find the Nike Swoosh. What makes this release special, however, is the back of the shoe. For the occasion, the classic leather was replaced by heat-sensitive panels that, if placed near heat sources, can change color. The same technology has also been applied on the tongue tab where the Jumpman logo is present. Detailed photos posted by @ s.sam.group suggests an upcoming release. But still, nothing is certain and confirmed.

However, the effect reminds us of a particular Air Force, which we told you about last month. Nike had proposed its iconic sneakers in a version capable of changing color in the light. The magic happens when Air Force 1 is exposed to the UV rays of the sun. The photosensitive treatment applied to the upper allows the shoe to change its look completely. The result is a sneaker with fresh and spring shades.
