In the latest months, the social networks on any streetwear fan have been full of rumors and scoops, due to the announcement of a surprising and incredible collaboration between the New York brand Supreme and the king of crystals Swarovski.

Many may think it is just an impossible dream, other believe it is nothing but a rumor, but we know it is a project meant to come true. Yes, you heard me right: the unbelievable partnership between these two very different brands will debut on the occasion of a very special event: Supreme’s 25th anniversary.  It was April 1994 when young James Jebbia opened his first Store entirely dedicated to skaters, in the center of Manhattan, 274 Lafayette Street. The beginning of a fairytale, made of limited edition collections, sold weekly through so-called “drops”, and rare pieces, that gave birth to the phenomenon of reselling.

Supreme’s style ranges among underground, hip hop, punk and rock and the brand managed to collaborate in perfect synergy with several great signatures: Nike, Levi’s, Stone Island, Lacoste, Undercover, Vans, Comme de Garcon and even the luxurious and unthinkable Louis Vuitton.
Today, for its 25th birthday, Supreme surprised us once again, with one of the most exciting capsule collections for Spring/Summer 2019: the collaboration with Swarovski.
The lively art of streetwear meets glass crystals, for an unthinkable result.

Sadly we don’t have many details yet, but probably we’ll get to see the notorious logo box in a new guise, full of shiny crystals covering the most popular items of the brand, such as Hoodies, t-shirts, skateboards and much more. When will all of that happen? Probably, the release will take place on April the 9th, thus get ready with your countdown because as always it will probably be sold out in the blink of an eye. We of MVCMAGAZINE wish Supreme all the best, for a really sparkly birthday!
