Nicki Minaj is never been subtle about anything, and for announcing her pregnancy she went all out. The pop star shared on her Instagram profile, that counts 119 million followers the first images of her baby bump.
Shot by the legendary photographer David LaChapelle, in his typical over the top style, the three images show off Nicki’s in three different setups and outfits. In the first one, Nicki is wearing a wig that resembles Marilyn Monroe’s hair, a crystal bikini and a pair of 25 cm platform heels in plexiglass, while smiling and sitting on a pink sofa. In the second picture, the singer impersonates Botticelli’s Venus and holds her belly, with her straight and blue, hold up in a complicated hairstyle wearing a baroque two-piece set. While in the third and last image the singer wears again her blonde wig while sitting on a plastic pop sofa. “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes,” writes Minaj in the caption.
