Celine is expanding its offering in the beauty sector. The French luxury brand, which launched its line of cosmetic products only a year ago with the introduction of solid soaps, Colonia Céleste perfumed body oil and bath milk, has other new features in store.
The collection, designed by the brand’s artistic director Hedi Slimane, will be enriched with an extension of its bath and body line from the Haute Parfumerie, which will include liquid soap, body milk, hand cream and hair spray.
The intense perfumes that distinguish them follow the olfactory notes of the brand’s perfumery collection. The hair mist, for example, is made with the fragrances “Parade”, “Reptile” and “Black Tie”. While among the new features, the liquid soap, body milk and hand cream are available in the “Parade”, “La Peau Neu”, “Reptile” and “Cologne Céleste” fragrances.
In a statement, Celine said each of the bath and body product formulas was developed and tailor-made by Slimane, down to every detail.
“They have undergone advanced work on the carefully chosen raw materials so that the products perfectly combine sensoriality, performance and a high level of naturalness,” the label explained.
Each new product boasts extremely luxurious packaging with an essential and captivating design. In fact, the line features semi-transparent amber or white bottles and tubes, made of 50% recycled PET or 95% aluminium, completed with labels in typical 17th century graphic style.
Celine’s iconographic symbol is imprinted on the black pumps and small caps that complete the product packaging.
The brand has not yet communicated the release date of these four new entries in its Beauty line. But it has been confirmed that it will go on sale (at least online) by the end of the year.
In other news regarding Slimane’s plans for the brand, it is said that the Celine Beauté section will add, each season, new collections designed by its creative director, including lip balms, nail polishes, face powders, blush cases, mascaras, eyeliner and pencils.
