A new look for Marc Jacobs that with his looks keep pushing the gender norms. The designer, that already experimented last year with a pair of Rick Owens plateau boots for a walk in Central Park, during the lockdown the designer shared on Instagram his “quarantine looks”.

Back in April, the designer purchased a stunning Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home in Rye, New York, and he has been living there with his husband Charly Defrancesco ever since. The change of scenery has been a pretty dramatic shift for the designer, that discovered new hobbies including birdwatching. Still, Jacobs has not given up on his passion for fashion, and on his most recent Instagram post, the designer wears an outfit straight out of his latest collection while sitting on a log bench. The look was completed with a safari hat made by Stephen Jones, jewellery and a pair of kitten heels.

The American designer is not the only one that has experimented with his looks during the lockdown, like the actor Johnny Depp, singers Harry Style and ASAP Rocky show off their nail art and make-up looks. If in the past few years male and beauty were still considered a taboo topic, thanks to the new generation are becoming a multi-billion industry.
