Iceberg show is immediately at Alcatraz in Milan. At 8pm on Sunday 12 January, the A / W 2020 show by the Italian brand Iceberg was staged in the historic Milanese club, a reference point for rap and trap music.
Led by creative director James Long, the men’s collection offers Italian tailoring combined with the London vibe of ravers, a sportswear style that blends perfectly with luxury, spreading on military and formal silhouettes.
I decided to reinterpret and retrieve the story of Eddie Peake, an English artist of the early 2000s and bring the atmosphere back together, taking up the colors and styles to recreate an arty rave with an ‘illegal’ vibe“, explains the designer.Maria Vittoria Cusumano with the creative director James Long
A collection that on the catwalk translates into 44 London-inspired releases, which goes from camouflage jackets to milletas, to destroyed sweaters and cargo pants. There is no shortage of Italian references to sportswear, such as down jackets of all lengths and shapes and ski goggles. The models are ready to bite the catwalk with military-inspired boots or sneakers with a grunge allure on their feet. Accessories such as technical shoulder bags and carabiner ties become the protagonists. Cartoon characters such as Tweety, Sylvester and Tal and other iconic characters from the Loonely Tunes world are proposed on the releases, but redesigned. A fashion show transformed into a full-blown rave party in dark hues, such as the garments palette, interspersed with flashes of fluorescent green, degraded blue, red and white to reinterpret punk sport. James Long also brings back the iconic oval in the Iceberg logo in a neon yellow version that becomes a new brand signature.

This new mixed world of Iceberg that creates something new and unexpected, could not fail to host great appearances such as Luca Vezil, Jessica Goicoechea, Le Donatella and the DJ for the party signed Iceberg, Marvely. Also the PR of the Paola Ruffo brand was present and our publisher Maria Vittoria Cusumano.Maria Vittoria Cusumano with PR Paola Ruffo
