After some concept made for Yeezy, Andrew Kostman is back to talk about itself with an even more ambitious project. Nothing footwear this time, but a jacket inflatable helium designed in Italy and made in Japan. The inspiration ? the idea of a balloon resulted in the hand of a child.
HELIUM-10000 has been developed with a material that’s “top secret” durable and ultra-light, designed to withstand the helium’s pressure. And it is precisely thanks to this material that “the jacket inflates”. And if it collapses? No problem. Thanks to a cylinder that is included in packing, you can perform various refills over time. An idea as simple as it is innovative, as shown by the concept that accompanies the project’s announcement, seems to unite the timeless look of the puffer jacket with a balloon and traditional.
The Flying jacket HELIUM-10000 is still in the testing phase but ready to debut after a development that lasted months. Only available in 100 pieces, the jacket will have a starting price of$ 10000 and will be available in six different colors: Rainbow N, Boasts, Rose, Gold, Ice, and Silver. To try to win one of the jackets, just book here.
However, to the eyes of the industry, the design of the jacket is reminiscent of a vest seen on the occasion of the spring/summer 2021 by Louis Vuitton. The vest is made of PVC, available in several different versions, all featuring the house’s iconic Monogram of the French fashion house. The success was so immediate, and very soon on social vest transparent LV has sparked a notable trend. In Asia, in particular, was the outbreak of the mania of the spirit of DIY. The people led to the bizarre replicas made with the curious, the “materials.” From bags of chips to the air bladders in the packaging with a monogram-drawn pen.
