After its succesful come-back for the fall-winter 2018 collection, Prada‘s sporty line has presented its iconic Red Line for 2019 spring-summer. This time Prada‘s sub-label has a special and strategic partner: Highsnobiety, one of the most influent streetwear blogs in the world. As a atter of fact the whole collection will be avaialble on the Highsnobiety website, which for th first time has become an e-commerce site.
It’s not such a suprise that Prada decided to collaborate with such a champion of streetwear daily news, since the Red Line is clearly a tribute to the 90’s sporty and street style. The clear and simple lines, the technical and comfortable fabrics and the solid colours that for many years charachterized Prada‘s sporty lines are finally back , reinterpreted in order to satisfy the desires of new generations. Among the most iconinc pieces of the collection, we must mention the windbreaker, the waistcoat, the fishing hat and the backpack; all featuring very neutral colours, aiming at hihglighting the notorioius red line.
Prada‘s minimalism found through this collection a more modern and contemporary expression, also thanks to the digital campaign consisting of single pictures containing several photograms in movement.
