It was rumored already in 2017 of a hypothetical collaboration between the French fashion house Dior and the street wear brand Nike. Kris Van Assche one of Dior’s creative directors had announced it with a post on Instagram but that was later removed.
But finally the collaboration is done! News announced yesterday via social channels that the French fashion house in June of 2020 will realize with Nike a co-lab, specifically with the Air Jordan 1 model, but for a limited quantity.
Perhaps it is the response to the news of a few days ago of the collaboration between Prada and Adidas (read the article here)? Who can say. Meanwhile we expect a great result from this union of two colossal brands of their kind.
For the time being, more details are scarce but we know they could cost $ 2000.

Finally the very first photos of the Dior x Nike co-lab have been revealed and the silhouette chosen, as we have already mentioned above, is the Air Jordan 1 High OG which comes in a gray color, with all the details of the Dior maison. The release is scheduled for spring 2020, and the sneaker can only be purchased in selected Dior stores! below all the photos:
