The commitments by some brands against the coronavirus still continue. Do you remember when we announced that 100% of the proceeds from the online sales of Sergio Rossi’s shoes would go to the ASST Fatebenefratelli – Sacco Hospital in Milan? Now even the Sicilian brand Dolce & Gabbana has launched a similar initiative. From April 28, part of the revenues obtained from the online sale of the new Dolce & Gabbana Devotion bags will be donated to Humanitas University. A renewal in favor of the campus after a first donation in March, at the beginning of the pandemic.
Face of the Spring Summer 2020 advertising campaign Devotion Bag, and a reflection of the initiative, is the actress Sofia Vergara, who was portrayed in a joyful photo shoot, made in Portofino just before the lockdown caused by the spread of the covid19.
“Dolce & Gabbana immediately believed in the importance of scientific research to combat Coronavirus,” said Roberto Cagliero, Fundraising Director of Humanitas, “thanks to their donation […] Humanitas University is carrying out a research project in collaboration with the virologists of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, with the aim of clarifying the responses of our defenses to Coronavirus and laying the foundations for the development of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, contributing to the resolution of a global problem ».
