Class 1984, in the past years’ lots of things, changed for the chef Luciano Monosilio, moving from the kitchen of Roscioli, Fulvio Pierangelini, Enrico Crippa and Mauro Uliassi. But the real turning point for his career happened in 2018 with the opening of his first restaurant Luciano Cucina Italiana. His goals were to re-launch the traditional Italian cuisine by, first of all, recreating a background similar to a place that he could visit when he was a kid and focusing on the key recipes of the Italian tradition. From his beloved Carbonara to other classic Roman recipes as well as contemporary.
The idea was to create a format that could be replicated and exported. A comfortable but quality setting. The project includes the possibility to order some fresh pasta and bring it to your house to experiment yourself with some traditional recipes. The menu includes 100 options, from the beloved Carbonara to Lamb’s Carpaccio, from the Vaccinara’s Pappardelle to the Parmigiana.
The prices are really affordable, going from 10 to 20 euros.
