The first model, the one dedicated to the European public, takes the name of “La Ville-Lumière” and will be released exclusively in women’s sizes. The sneaker is characterized by its clean design, created by the overlapping of white mesh panels, cream-colored leather, iridescent layers, and accents of navy blue. In addition to the tab on the tongue, the peculiarity lies in the metal charms that depict the inscription “3.26“, a swoosh, and a model of Air Max 1.
The upper version designed for North America is tinged instead of baby blue and white and takes the name of “Blueprint” and “planimetry” in Italian. Playing around this theme, Nike has decorated the swoosh and tongue with a checkered pattern that recalls the floor plans of the buildings.
The latest makeover, called “Wabisabi“, is the one that Nike has dedicated to Asia and Latin America. In addition to the visible seams, what makes this edition unique is the heel counter which, instead of the usual embroidered “Nike Air” inscription, has a panel in which the Swoosh Face has been carved.
