The snow, the songs of Michael Bublé and Mariah Carey in the background, the tree with gifts and decorative lights underneath. What’s missing for a perfect Christmas? The panettone, of course! And in 2020 a panettone is much more than a simple traditional dessert. Thanks to the reinterpretations of the great chefs, and to the brand new personalization services, it has become an object of desire. And the latest gem is the one signed by Gucci Osteria by Massimo Bottura and created by the chef de cuisine Karime Lòpez. Available in a limited edition in 1kg and 500g versions exclusively at the Gucci Osteria in Piazza della Signoria in Florence, in addition to the classic recipe, we find a brand new formula based on chocolate and black cherry.

To make the new panettone, Gucci Osteria collaborated with the pastry chefs of the Posillipo Dolce Officina in Gabicce Monte, in the Marche region. Famous artisan pastry shop winner of the “Re Panettone 2016” award in Milan and “Una mole di Panettoni” in 2018 in Turin. Like any self-respecting Gucci accessory, even the Gucci Osteria panettone is enclosed in a packaging that is as precious as its content. Wrapped in a soft flannel pouch, it is sold in an elegant cylindrical pink tin box that incorporates the Gucci Eye motif, epitome of the Gucci Garden in Florence.

The relationship between Gucci and Massimo Bottura is a successful relationship that began in 2018, the opening year of the Gucci Osteria in Florence, today led by Karime Lopez and awarded a star by the 2020 Michelin Guide. Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura has also opened in Los Angeles in February of this year. And also here the city of angels will have its panettone. A limited edition based on chocolate with hazelnuts and orange available exclusively at Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills.

A truly gourmet Christmas this year!
