Fashion does not go unnoticed, even at football events. The trophy itself, housed in a Louis Vuitton case, is a prime example.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 halftime show—though lasting just 11 minutes—transformed into a glamorous musical spectacle featuring over 350 performers, including celebrities and dancers. From archive-inspired luxury tailoring to bespoke streetwear, every artist showcased unforgettable looks created by some of the most renowned brands of all time.

Headliners included Madonna, Justin Bieber, and BTS, sporting outfits ranging from Saint Laurent to custom-made pieces by Skylrk—a true first for the world of football.

Madonna kicks things off in a full Saint Laurent look featuring a mauve satin-crepe Teddy jacket, a silver bra, a pink corset with strap details and metal inserts, and pink habutai silk mini-shorts. The lavender fishnet tights and metallic leather “Danceteria” boots are also by the Maison.

Swarovski added a further touch of pink with full-cut fuchsia crystals from the Millenia collection, a UNA Angelic strand necklace, and custom-made earrings, while the dancers also performed in crystal-studded outfits.

For “Dynamite,” BTS adopted a soccer theme by wearing variations of a soccer uniform in red, white, and black, featuring details that differed from member to member: jerseys, warm-up jackets, and bomber jackets were embellished with crests, stars, soccer-ball patches, and “BTS” lettering, paired with bottoms ranging from white cargo pants and red printed flared trousers to wide-leg black pants.

Next up is Justin Bieber, performing with vocals, guitar, and some fascinating custom pieces from his brand, SKYLRK. The “Latte”-hued monochromatic sneakers, paired with scrunched SKYLRK socks, immediately catch the eye. This new low-top version expands the brand’s footwear lineup, building on the success of the initial June launch, which sold out instantly. Denim shorts, a polo shirt, and sunglasses from the brand’s “Speed Demon” line complete the outfit. Custom elements created specifically for the performance included a branded earpiece and guitar strap.

It wouldn’t be the World Cup without Shakira. The singer brought a splash of color to the stage for “Dai Dai”—performed alongside Burna Boy and the Ugandan group Ghetto Kids—sporting an outfit even more captivating than the performance itself. Her custom bodysuit, designed by Fausto Puglisi for Roberto Cavalli, was hand-embroidered with over 200,000 Swarovski crystals in shades of hot pink, orange, and citrine—a labor-intensive creation that took 120 hours to complete.

Although she entered the field wearing a pair of equally vibrant ankle boots, she performed primarily barefoot, surrounded by dancers clad in orange and yellow costumes featuring cutouts and layers of fringe.

This is perhaps the first time ever that the FIFA World Cup has given us a halftime show almost as memorable as the final match itself.
