Haute couture is certainly not immune to festive culinary traditions.

With Easter approaching, Dior has officially unveiled its latest offerings for the holiday, including a monumental and undoubtedly luxurious Chocolate Egg.

The Dior Chocolate Egg at 30 Montaigne, created by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno, combines the House’s imagination with the sensibility of fine French pastry.

The egg is crafted from dark and white chocolate, complete with the Maison’s medallion and bow—one of the symbols that has permeated the history of fashion, and which is reinterpreted here with great refinement. The “sculpted” and decorated surface of the egg is undoubtedly its most spectacular element, where elegant graphics marry food design.

As if all this weren’t enough, hidden inside the Chocolate Egg are small chocolate surprises. Even the treats recall the cannage motif, buttons, and CD initials that have made the brand so famous, in a triumph of hazelnuts and almonds, sobacha, and puffed rice pralines that will delight those who love high-end pastries.

It is a true edible sculpture, themed and enriched with Dior codes in an exclusive and delicious form, designed to evoke the designer’s well-known love of life’s pleasures, including good food.

The creator of the Dior Egg, Alléno, is the chef at the Monsieur Dior restaurant on Avenue Montaigne, along with Le Café and Le Jardin.

Heading one of the most iconic restaurants in Paris, Alléno has developed a culinary offering that connects the archives of Christian Dior’s House with its gastronomic universe, offering chic and contemporary dishes. From this perspective, the Dior Easter Egg could not be an exception—a creation that combines the history of couture with the mastery of great pastry chefs. It’s no coincidence that the egg can only be purchased there, at Le Jardin du 30 Montaigne.

But that’s not all! The chocolate egg comes with a new decorative ceramic object, forming a true Easter-themed collection.

Dior Maison introduces this highly detailed ceramic decorative piece to its Trompe-l’œil collection. The work depicts a lifelike hen and colorful eggs resting on delicate plates, paying homage to the 18th-century trompe-l’œil aesthetic. Crafted with extraordinary precision, the ceramic figures blur the line between playful art and culinary delight.
