Great news coming for La Casa di Carta, whose definitive conclusion would therefore not be so close.
Netflix will develop La Casa de Papel’s spin-off based on the Berlin character.
The streaming service reportedly confirmed the news during the final series of questions and answers within the Money Heist event in Madrid.
Pedro Alonso will reprise his role in the series: “It’s a memorable moment because it’s the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. Today I was talking to Jesus Colmenar, and we said that now we are walking into the unknown, open to whatever happens and without expectations.”
“I know these people will give the series every possible twist,” Alonso added, referring to the writers. “Responsibility can be a burden and a prison. I hope we will continue to have the courage to use this wonderful energy to enlighten ourselves again.”
The plot of the series is not yet straightforward as the Berlin character was killed at the end of the second part; it is certain that, as always happens, for La Casa di Carta there will be no shortage of surprises.
