The new Louis Vuitton shoulder bag is out and is called Pont 9. The name is a homage to Pont Neuf, the oldest and most famous bridge in Paris, situated in front of Louis Vuitton’s headquarters. The design is compact, geometrical and elegant: the bag is made with smooth calf leather slightly padded, while the metal detail reminds of the Louis Vuitton Circle, the logo of the Maison during the 30s that the Creative Director, Nicolas Ghesquière found in their archive. Inside, the Pont 9 is made with colourful leather and has two compartments and two pockets.
The bellows structure and the extra space are just two of the many hidden characteristics of the bag, like the magnetic closure shaped like a flower. The Pont 9 will available in 5 different colours: cream, black, orange summer gold, pink dahlia and blue orange.
