Versace present Vision For The Future, a special project for the launch of the new Versace Jeans Couture. By involving a new generation of young creatives, the project wants to be a positive response to the pandemic. Versace aims to demonstrate how this period influenced and stimulated our creativity, as well as trying to spread a message of love and global solidarity. The brand asked a series of multimedia artists, that comes from different backgrounds to reinterpret the collection and explore their personal vision for the future. The first artist involved in the French filmmaker and photographer Jason Yan Francis, that created a series of strong images, using the digital collage technique, that communicates a sense of unity and connection.

“With this series of multimedia collages I wanted to illustrate how the new generations are united by creativity. Even if my subjects don’t know each other, I wanted them to meet throughout my college,” explains Francis sharing the passion of his subjects, Lilian and Hannah. “Both of them love knitting, drawing, dance, make-up and writing […] I collaborated with them, each one of us from the comfort of our home, creating DIY sets design and how they could express themselves with the posing”.

The new Versace Jeans Couture Collection is now available online on Versace.com with the project Vision For The Future. The series also involved the personal vision of Alex Black and Paul Herrmann.
