THE PITTI EVENT POSTPONED IN SEPTEMBER

The agenda in September is now full of commitments. Because of the coronavirus, the fashion world has decided to postpone all the commitments scheduled for the months of June and July to after the summer months. So after the decision by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion to postpone Milan Men’s Fashion Week from June to September (article here), confirmation of the postponements of Pitti Uomo and Mido also inevitably arrives.
The 98th edition of the Florentine event scheduled for June, sled from 2 to 4 September, hosted as usual in the spaces of the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. The other appointments with Pitti Bimbo on 9 and 10 September also slip, while Pitti Filati still to be decided. The 2020 food event, Pitti Taste, has been canceled. In the meantime, the organization is working to implement its digital Pitti Connect platform.The same goes also for Mido, the important fair dedicated to the world of eyewear, already postponed from March to July, skips a year, arriving with the new programming scheduled for 6 to 8 February 2021. In this period of stall, Mido is also working digitally on the Mido4U.com site dedicated to operators in the sector.
