Nike has just offered a new version of its Air Force 1-Type N.354. The sneaker, which is part of the secondary line, is nicknamed “Experimental Sail”, and features an upper entirely covered with foam.
Starting from the top, the shoe features two ripstop tabs, and a quick lacing system around the forefoot. In addition to these details, all the shoes are covered with “sail” colored spongy foam inspired by the oxygen masks used in the Nike research laboratory. The symbol “N.354 ″ is lightly engraved on the lateral Swoosh of the shoe; While a fluorescent label is positioned in the lower part of the heel. To complete the sneaker there is the classic white midsole, accompanied in turn by a semi-transparent iced sole.
Even though no official release dates have been confirmed, Nike’s Air Force 1-Type N.354 “Experimental” is expected to hit Nike’s website in the coming months for $ 110.
But this isn’t Nike’s first experimental shoe. In the coming weeks, the new fully assembled Air Force 1/1 should arrive on the American and Asian markets. In fact, the sneaker has a Velcro upper on which to “attach” the pieces. The 1/1 comes with a full set of bright orange Swoosh, tongue tab, heel and laces. Green light for DIY!
But that’s not all. Soon, on December 18th, the first Nike capsule collection made in collaboration with rapper Drake will be released. It’s called NOCTA, and the initial offerings seem to consist of down jackets, a sweat jacket, hoodies, fleece pants, sweatpants, shirts, socks, and a hat. For now there are no sneakers, but nothing is taken for granted.
