Just over nine months after the supermodel and the “I Like It” singer first sparked romance rumors, the couple has decided to end 2023 with a split.
As with the entire relationship, the separation between the two celebrities also occurred calmly and discreetly.
Fans of the couple have begun speculating about their relationship status in recent weeks after it appeared they were spending time apart. On Dec. 16, Kendall was photographed with friends and without the rapper, in Aspen, Colorado. In fact, the two hadn’t been spotted together since late October, when Kendall supported Bad Bunny (real name Benito Martínez Ocasio) in his debut as host of Saturday Night Live in New York City.
It had only been a month earlier, however, that Kendal and Bad Bunny’s relationship looked truly promising. The couple’s splendid appearances during Milan Fashion Week and the iconic Gucci campaign which in a certain sense established the official status of the jet-setting couple made headlines all over the world.
Between December 16 and 17, several newspapers and tabloids confirmed that the couple was officially over. Fortunately, everyone seems to agree that the two broke up peacefully and without excessive drama: “There is no bad blood,” one insider said. “They are even still in contact. Their relationship had been difficult due to their busy schedules.
Needless to say, no one has yet managed to obtain direct statements from the two celebrities regarding this breakup.
Some time ago Bad Bunny explained why he wanted to keep the love story under wraps. “I know something is going to come out,” he told in an interview. “I know [people are] going to say something. People know everything about me, so what’s left for me to protect? My private life, my personal life.”
When forced to officially define his relationship with Jenner, he said: “That’s the only answer. In the end, the only thing I have is my privacy.”
While the couple seemed comfortable addressing their relationship through photos, they kept many details of their romance private, including, apparently, its very end.
