After a long period of rumors and hopes about a hypothetical new reunion between the two brands, Stüssy & BIRKENSTOCK did not disappoint expectations by once again embarking on a decidedly successful creative journey.
After the success of the collaboration centered on the iconic Boston mule, which from an anonymous comfort symbol has become a true must have for lovers of street and casual trends, it’s time for a new entry.
The “four-handed” work of the two brands resulted in Solana, a slip-on silhouette that features BIRKENSTOCK’s famous molded cork footbed and an oversized suede upper lined with shearling, with a hook-and-loop closure for a perfect and an even more comfortable fit.
If the shape of this shoe seems familiar to you, it’s because the third collaboration between the two brands has an archive model from Birkenstock as its starting point. Solana is in fact an even more comfortable and irreverent version of the classic Kyoto style of the historic German brand.
As the advertising campaign suggests, where couples and groups of friends are seen on the beach relaxing on the sand or having fun around a bonfire, Solana aims to be a choice for all seasons. Given its extremely comfortable and at the same time cool design, the shoe is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The new Solana model is offered in a range of three different refined and captivating colours: “Bone”, “Caramel” and “Washed Green”, with the Stüssy logo printed on the side.
