Stella McCartney celebrates the new generation of revolutionary activists with the launch of a new Unisex Collection: Shared for the Autumn 2020. “From Greta Thunberg to Munroe Bergdorf, this new generation of activists inspired our new capsule collection,” said the British designer that recently worked on the music festival Stellafest to support the battle against violence against women. The unisex collection not only represents the designer’s desire to approach gender fluidity and create a connection with the new generation throughout her clothes but also explore youth subcultures that share the same values as activism. A celebration of individuality and positivity inspired by those voices that want to bring a change in our society for a better future. “If their cause is the fight against climate change or civil rights, we saw hos strong the new generation can be once they unite all their voice and connect. They take on big challenges, stay positive, celebrates diversity, inclusivity and individuality. They became my source of inspiration,” concluded the designer.

The Stella McCartney Shared presents a new urban closet, like blazers, trench, button-up shirts and sartorial pants reinterpreted with a unisex look. Many pieces from the collection are characterized by psychedelic prints inspired by the 70s made by the famous London based artists Will Sweeney, while on the organic cotton hoodie and T-shirts and the tote bags are featured the “STELLA MCCARTNEY EST.2001 – 23 OLD BOND ST. LONDON” logo.

The collection will be available online and in every Stella McCartney boutique starting from the 1st of September 2020.
