Sarah Jessica Parker surprises her fans and becomes a Sales Associate at the first store of her shoe brand, SJP located in the 54th street (Manhattan). Face mask and social distancing still didn’t reduce the shock and surprise of the clients to find in front of them their idol surrounded by the shoes that she designed.
Known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the cult show, Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker opens her store in the same spot where once was located, Manolo Blahnik’s boutique, which Carrie used to go all the time. “It was a lovely day. “So nice to be in the shop with our customers (safely, 6 feet apart and with a mask!) and to speak to all those who called the boutique with questions and orders,” commented Parker on Instagram.
The best part is that Sarah Jessica Parker herself delivered some of the orders. “I’m headed downtown to our customer in the West Village, dropping off her purchase. We will continue to offer same-day Manhattan delivery, as well as offering virtual sales appointments for anyone who isn’t in New York or may not yet feel safe visiting us in-store”. In the pictures, the actress-designer is walking down the 54th street full of bags and boxes ready to deliver.
The SJP brand was born six years ago in partnership with Manolo Blahnik and the store was supposed to open in April, but the inauguration was postponed to July 7th due to the pandemic.
