With perfect timing, Kim Kardashian has announced a new collaboration to make the holiday season even more sparkling and flamboyant.

Skims, the well-known brand of the social media mogul, is about to release a line born from the partnership with the creative director of Swarovski Giovanna Engelbert. This is an exclusive collection of body jewelry, underwear and shapewear studded with crystals.

The meeting between the two creatives of the fashion system was just a question of time and arrives at a quite favorable moment for Skims given the debut of the brand in the world of men’s underwear with the launch of Skims Mens and the Nipple Bra’s project, that became immediately viral.

By the way, from the union of these two brands, a line was born that hybridizes the “joyful extravagance” of the Austrian Maison and the technical-stylistic qualities of SKIMS fabrics.

The line includes a selection of size-inclusive crystal body jewelry that enhances the female silhouette. The handmade pieces are inspired by the Millenia jewelry collection and can be worn layered over a garment and paired with chokers, necklaces and bracelets. The ready-to-wear garments, however, are made with exclusive Skims fabrics, embellished with crystals for every occasion of use and capable of enhancing the beauty and sensuality of every physical shape.

“It has always been my dream since I joined Swarovski to create a first-ever collaboration with Skims that promotes the art of self-expression,” says Giovanna Engelbert, Swarovski Creative Director. “The collection is a celebration of the body and strength, independent women who value their individuality and embrace life with confidence and style.”

The Swarovski x Skims collection was presented by Kim herself through a campaign, which obviously sees her as the protagonist, shot by Mert Alas, a world-famous photographer and longtime collaborator of Kardashian.

“Per questa collaborazione, volevamo davvero celebrare la creatività individuale e portare più glamour nell’armadio di tutti i giorni”, afferma Kim Kardashian, co-founder e direttrice creativa di Skims. “I pezzi sono così speciali e abbiamo amato integrare gli iconici tagli di cristallo nei miei capi preferiti”, aggiunge la socialite americana.

La collezione Swarovski x Skims debutta a livello globale il 7 novembre sull’e-shop del brand americano, nei negozi Swarovski e in selezionati multimarca di lusso in tutto il mondo, tra cui Rinascente Piazza Duomo, a Milano, con uno speciale takeover dal 7 al 26 novembre.
