PIANOSTRADA, ALL FEMALE KITCHEN

Four women are the success of Pianostrada in Rome. Chiara Paola and her two daughters Flaminia and Alice, have conceived and structured thanks to other special women’s creative vision. In short, an all-female gastronomic activity.

Pianostrada was born in Rome in 2014 as a counter kitchen project, in which anyone entering it felt part of what was happening. Two years after, then evolves, in the restaurant that today we find in Via Delle Zoccolette 22, a step away from Ponte Sisto towards Campo de ‘Fiori. It is a cooking workshop where you can choose whether to enjoy dinner at the counter, at a reserved table in an informal but elegant setting, rather than in an outdoor garden.

The menu is built on simple dishes, to bring together in a balanced way, carefully selected excellent raw materials. All accompanied by a well-assorted wine list. In a friendly, welcoming, and soft atmosphere, the typical dishes are: a Beef fillet tartare, with Meaux mustard, crispy capers from Pantelleria, and dehydrated Taggiasca olives; Fresh spaghetti with fresh and baked dattering tomatoes, Mustia ricotta, lemon, and Red Cow Parmesan; Rabbit tuna cooked at low temperature, with sautéed artichokes, Dijon mustard, Chardonnay, aromatic herbs, and pink pepper. To conclude, an assorted pastry made right there, in an open space, where Sara and Ludovica create many delights every day.
