The incredible news of the first ever collaboration between Nike and Tiffany had already spread since January, but new official updates have come out close to the release date.
In this new era in which luxury and streetwear continue to intertwine and interchange with more and more new creative and marketing solutions, an official partnership between Nike and Tiffany & Co. is a project destined to end up on the wish-list of many fans of the fashion system and sneakers lovers.
The historic American jewelry company is definitely embarking on a renaissance process, related to its recent entry into the LVMH group with a record acquisition of 15.8 billion dollars. The various collaborations and new campaigns with names of the level of Jay-Z and Beyoncé prove it.
After Supreme, Tiffany & Co. made a surprise comeback by announcing a new partnership with Nike, setting a foot back on the street scene with the launch of a brand new Nike Air Force 1 1837 (1837, as the foundation year in which the first Tiffany store in New York opened), the official images of which have finally been published online.
The sneaker has a rather minimal line characterized by an upper in black suede, combined with a midsole of the same color. It is obviously characterized by the side swoosh in leather, dyed in Tiffany blue. Additional details include thick rope laces, Turquoise insoles with Silver Nike Air branding, and classic AF1 outsoles in Black with additional ‘Tiffany Blue’ accents along the bottom. The branding of the jewellery is then reproduced on the tongue tab and behind the heel, where a silver plate is inserted.
Even the box that contains them has been redesigned with a Tiffany blue design and inside it contains three different types of laces so that we can customize the shoes to our liking.
