Gucci has chosen Instagram to anticipate the release of a new collaboration with Comme des Garçon to celebrate its historic centenary.
This new collaboration is part of the packed calendar of events developed by Alessandro Michele for the historic milestone achieved by the Maison.
Future projects also include the next Aria collection with Balenciaga and its Mattel ‘s Hot Wheels Cadillac Seville mini collector’s car. Gucci also recently unveiled an online concept store called Vault. The retail experience serves as both a digital repository for the brand and an e-commerce site.
Gucci posted on its Instagram story an upcoming new collaboration with Comme des Garçon, bringing back a fresh take on its famous co-branded bags as part of the centennial celebration. The first PVC bags of the French Maison co-branded with Gucci with Florentine Maison’s famous green and red striped detail overlapping the COMME des GARÇONS logo were released in 2018.
