When the lift opens its doors at the 15th of the Hotel Indigo what you will find in front of you is a spectacular and spacious environment flooded with natural light coming from the large windows during the day. At night is illuminated by incandescent bulbs and the light of New York City. Mr Purple is a lounge, bar and restaurant, located in the Lower East Side of New York.
Designed by the internationally renowned design studio Crème Design, Mr Purple recreates an artist-loft environment with indoor and outdoor areas exposed through the use of reclaimed wood structures, juxtaposed with concrete, metal, suspended lights and contemporary wooden furniture. A perfect mix of modern and rustic that fit together perfectly: high ceiling but with the systems insight, and upholstered sofas and stools that flank wooden shelves and tables. Outside two terraces: a smaller one perfect for an intimate gathering and a larger one located on the west side, featuring a pool, bar and lots of seating including lounge chairs, banquets and high communal tables. From both, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city.
Mr Purple‘s menu offers locally sourced products and ingredients, such as mini sandwiches, cold cuts and cheeses, french fries, toast, salads. The bar menu offers a wide selection of small-batch spirits, regionally produced craft beers, universal wine offerings and a rotating selection of classic and modern Gerber Group cocktails that highlight the fresh ingredients of the market. Mr Purple also thinks about non-alcohol drinkers by offering them fresh, squeezed juices and coffee.
