Iceberg appeared on Milan’s catwalks with a fundamental question for us women: is it better to be Snow White or the Evil Queen? Each of us, in her heart, has chosen her own model. But now, Iceberg is turning tables: why choosing when you can be both? In order to believe this paradox of the human soul, just take a look at the 2019/20 fall-winter creations presented by Iceberg during the Milan Fashion week.
The show was inspired by the Grimm brothers’ fairytale, depicted in a whole new perspective: ironic, fluid, almost making fun of the new feminine generations. Iceberg woman is a new woman: she can be mean, but also very tender. The only rules in her world are free spirit and creativity.
Bondage details are paired with flowery patterns, traditional chiffon goes with distorted cartoon logos. On a white and fuchsia carpet, we admire black, intense blue, sidereal white. And, all of a sudden, surprisingly, pink. It is a double-souled pink: it can be bon-ton, if you like it, but it also tends to burning red, if you’re more of a hellfire type.

Dresses and skirts are layered, made of chiffon with contrasting shades; on the other hand pants are military inspired. It’s all about the contrast between sport and romance, aviator and angel, sky and Hell. Beautiful hairstyles: cured, sculptural and playful, just like sunglasses too. A great show.
