With the annual Met Gala appointment approaching but postponed this year because of the coronavirus, we are all crying, especially us in the fashion world, since it is one of the most glittering and extravagant red carpet events of the year. The starry affair (which questiono was to be held on May 4) in each edition has produced some looks that will remain in its history. But good news has come for colors that dreamed of glamorous night and maybe participate. Vogue and Billy Porter are collaborating on a new Instagram challenge to capture the fashion “spirit” of that night, which is called meets #MetGalaChallenge. The task is simple: you have to recreate your favorite look from a past edition of the Met Gala, at home. The materials you want to use depends on you, the important thing is as the Pose star asks, free your creativity and think big.
Do you want to participate in the challenge? Here are all the details to be entered: the #MetGalaChallenge challenge starts today March 23 and will end on May 3. To enter, publish your photo in a red carpet look that you recreated from a Met Gala past on Instagram, using the hashtag #MetGalaChallenge. Both Billy Porter and Vogue will select the winners of the challenge. Once chosen, they will be announced on May 4 in a post on Vogue.com and published in a special selection also on the official @voguemagazine Instagram page.
