Gucci Osteria was born from a childhood friendship between the CEO of Gucci Marco Bizzarri and the chef Massimo Bottura, a union of two realities that for the first time in 2018 saw the opening of the prestigious restaurant at the Gucci Garden in Florence . But now this collaboration is amplified and lands in the United States. On February 17 the restaurant of the famous chef Massimo Bottura, holder of three Michelin stars, will open its doors on the roof of the Gucci store in Los Angeles, in Rodeo Drive.
Using organic products from local farmers’ markets, the dishes of the Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura Beverly Hills will pay homage to the complex variety of culinary influences from all over the world that only Los Angeles is able to offer. The menu will be deeply Italian and will include signature dishes, such as the famous Tortellini with Crema di Parmigiano Reggiano, the legendary Emilia burger and new Californian-inspired dishes.
The interior furnishings will resume the Florentine restaurant, with details dictated by the Gucci home: the Gucci Décor wallpaper, antique mirrors, red marble tables and wicker chairs. The only elements that distinguish the Los Angeles location will be the herringbone parquet floor and the cherry red velvet benches, while the outdoor terrace will feature Italian marble mosaic floors and an ancient wooden pulpit that serves as a bar in the open.
The Gucci Osteria by Massimo Bottura Beverly Hills can host up to fifty guests and will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
