Jerry Lorenzo, founder di Fear of God, announced a new initiative in support of George Floyd, in particular for his daughter Gianna. In collaboration with some of the main black-owned streetwear brands like Off-White™, Noah, Awake NY, Denim Tears, Pyer Moss, Union LA, Just Don and Melody Ehsani, they launched a limited edition t-shirt which 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Gianna Floyd Fund. Lorenzo said about the project: “All that we do for @fearofgod is fueled by a generational love. A love to be an example to my children of what’s possible, a love to create an independent business that my children have the choice to one day carry on […] George’s daughter Gianna will not have this choice. We can never become for her what was lost, but we can help fill a small hole in her life by providing one thing she may not have to worry about.”
The T-shirt, available in black and white, has embroidered the letters GF, has a tribute for both George Floyd and his daughter Gianna, while on the back appears all the names that collaborated for the project. Another celebrity that recently supported Floyd’s family is Kanye West that donated 2 million dollars to support Gianna’s college fund.
